Day 01: Liberia Airport/ Arenal Volcano At your arrival to Liberia airport a representative of the rental car company will be waiting for your with a sign with your name in order to give you the rental car to continue to Arenal Area. The very active Arenal Volcano frequently emits sounds of violent explosions, attended by clouds of gray, brown, and orange gases. Overnight at La Pradera hotel, located 2 km from La Fortuna on the way to Arenal Volcano. The hotel offers: Swimming pool, Jacuzzi, Restaurant, Volcano view in all rooms, 24 hours security, Wireless internet, private parking and the mountain cabins have Cable TV, private bathroom, hot water, air conditioning, mini refrigerator, private terrace with view to Arenal Volcano.
Day 02: Arenal Volcano Area Breakfast and free day to enjoy the area. We recommend you to visit Arenal Volcano National Park, and La Fortuna Waterfalls. At evening visit to Ecotermales Hot Springs: Eco Termales Hot Springs is a sanctuary of nature and beauty and it is also the smallest of the Arenal Hot Springs, Ecotermales is geared toward privacy and relaxation and does not accept more than 100 visitors at a time. Visitors are invited to enjoy the beautiful environment as guests of the Hidalgo family not as walk in tourists. The 4 pools vary in temperature, the coolest one is 91 degrees Fahrenheit and the hottest one is 105 Fahrenheit. One of the pools has a cascading waterfall with misty water that is quite refreshing. One of the best things about Eco Termales is the wonderfully prepared food of Doña Mireya, using a traditional rustic kitchen she prepares delicious Costa Rican cuisine. The restaurant is now is 18 years old and used to be a house for the Hidalgo family. Today the restaurants still maintains its colonial architecture in which the family prepares meals on the first floor and sleeps on the second floor. Day 03: Manuel Antonio Beach After breakfast, departure to Manuel Antonio National Park, This park is just south of Quepos on the Pacific Coast, 132 km from San José. Perhaps It is so popular because of its expensive white sand beaches backed by an evergreen forest that grows right up to the high tide line. The principal habitants are primary forest, secondary forest, mangrove swamps, lagoons and beach vegetation. There is quite a varied fauna with 109 species of mammals and 184 of birds. The park includes 12 little isles just off the coast; these are a number of dolphins and, at times, migrating whales can be observed. Overnight at Playa Espadilla hotel.
Day 04: Manuel Antonio Beach Breakfast and free day to enjoy the beach and the national park. Overnight at Playa Espadilla hotel.
Day 05: Tortuga Beach After enjoying breakfast, departure to Tortuga beach in the South Pacific area (about 1 hour from Manuel Antonio beach). Overnight Villas Gaia hotel. Hotel Villas Gaia is situated where the mountains come down to the sea in the region called Fila Costeña. This biologically diverse region is surrounded by some of Costa Rica's most famous natural attractions: The vast wilderness of Corcovado National Park, The protected waters of Ballena Marine Park, Caño Island, and The Rio Sierpe - Terraba extensive mangrove ecosystem. The region is a bird watcher's paradise (450 counted species!!!) and has one of Central America's last stands of magnificent coastal rain forest. Miles of deserted beaches to the north offer abundant opportunities for swimming, surfing, kayaking and exploring. Hotel Villas Gaia consists of 12 colorful bungalows (casitas) separately nestled in a lush tropical garden, designed to harmonize with their forest surroundings and accented with the vibrant colors of the tropics, the hotel offers swimming pool and restaurant.
Day 06: Tortuga Beach / Corcovado National Park Full day tour to Corcovado National Park: We depart early in the morning in our comfortable van from Dominical, taking the Costanera Highway along the Pacific Ocean for about 90 minutes to Sierpe. We will stop there to have breakfast (not included). We will then take a comfortable boat ride through the largest area of mangrove swamps in Central America to Caño Island. The mangroves are inhabited by crocodiles, snakes, four species of monkeys, and a great variety of birds. Once through the Sierpe River mouth we'll boat past two of the most scenic areas in the country, Drake Bay and the Marenco Biological Reserve. We will hope to see Humpback, Pilot and Killer Whales along the way. When we get to the park our bilingual naturalist guide will lead you on a 3 hour walking tour of a pristine primary forest. The hike ends at the rangers station where we will provide a delicious picnic lunch surrounded by rich natural atmosphere. Overnight Villas Gaia hotel.
Day 07: Panamá Beach
Breakfast. Departure to Panama beach in Guanacaste. Overnight at Casa Conde del Mar Hotel. This hotel offers comfort and relaxation in a welcoming environment located in an area with one of the most pristine beaches in Costa Rica, Playa Panama. The 1 mile extension of taupe sand beach is bathed by clear waters with a soft current. Many water sports can be enjoyed including fishing, swimming, and windsurfing, among others, from a beach surrounded by the exuberant vegetation after which the beach was named. Playa Panamá has the Blue Flag certification and categorized as one of the most sanitary beaches in the country.
Day 08: Liberia airport Drop the rental car off at Liberia airport and flight back home.

Day 01: Liberia Upon arrival at the airport, you will rent a Daihatsu Bego 4x4 for 07 days. Continue to Arenal Volcano. The very active Arenal Volcano frequently emits sounds of violent explosions, attended by clouds of gray, brown, and orange gases. Overnight at Arenal Springs Hotel, which offers spectacular views of the nightly showers of lava and glowing rocks discharged from the volcano, from the private balcony. Day 02: Arenal Breakfast. Free day to enjoy the area. At the evening visit to Ecotermales hot springs, where the hot springs flow from the veins of the splendorous and active Arenal Volcano. Enjoy this natural wonder of Costa Rica and soothing feeling in any of mineral pools. Dinner included. Overnight at Arenal Springs Hotel.
Day 03: Arenal / Monteverde After breakfast, you will drive to Monteverde Cloud Forest, where you may spot birds such as the silvery-throated jay, spangled-checked tanager, black-thighed grosbeak, and the yellow-throated finch. Free afternoon, we recommend you to visit Monteverde Cloud Forest Reserve, one of the richest and most diverse tropical cloud forests in the world. Overnight at the Trapp Family Lodge. Day 04: Monteverde After a delicious early morning breakfast, you will be taken to Selvatura walkways; it’s an unforgettable experience, the excitement of looking to one side and seeing the tops of the trees and at the same time feel the sensation of walking among the clouds. Selvatura walkways is a unique system of suspension bridges that zigzag through deep canyons at the level of the treetops then you will enjoy the adventure in the canopy tour. Free afternoon. Day 05: Monteverde /Panama Beach (Guanacaste Province)
After enjoying breakfast you will be transferred to Panama beach in Guanacaste. Overnight at Casa Conde del Mar Hotel.
