1. Manuel Antonio National Park

This national park is one of the most famous in our country due to its wide variety of flora and fauna specimens. The park has 3 different trails and it is home of 3 of the 4 existing monkey species in Costa Rica. Then you will make a leisure stop at the third beach located insider of  the national park. You will have approximately 20 minutes to rest on the beach and you will continue with the hike where you will be able to observe sloths, birds and reptiles as well as admire orchids, butterflies and tropical trees. The park is closed on Mondays.

2. Horseback Riding Tour

You will receive riding instruction, safety tips and practice time, before heading out to explore the rainforest. The tour takes approximately 2 and a half hours roundtrip and it will be highlighted by views of the valley, verdant vegetation and numerous wildlife species such as birds and reptiles. At the end of the trail you will rest in a beautiful waterfall for about 30 minutes. and then you will enjoy a delicious lunch . Children riding alone must be at least 6 years old. Maximum weight for riders is 235 lbs.

3. Damas Island Kayaking Tour

This tour allows you to explore the wonders of the mangrove ecosystem. You will set out in a river called Paquita and float along the soft currents under a verdant forest  This  tour takes you through the natural channels and provides an ideal opportunity to observe heron species, kingfishers, ospreys, frigots and other migratory birds. You will see the island ,  tunnels made naturally from tree growths. This tour takes you across the waters for approximately 2 hours and 15 minutes, lunch can be arranged before or after the trip.The kayaks are available ifor 1 or 2 passengers. Kids must be at least 8 years old to paddle alone.

4. Damas Island Estuary Boat Trip

This tour allows you to navigate through the wonders of the mangrove ecosystem. You will navigate by boat where you will be able to interact with the monkeys,  pass thought natural channels and provides an ideal opportunity to observe heron species, kingfishers, engrids, frigot birds and other migratory birds. Lunch will be served after you return from the boat tour.

5. Canopy Tour

If you enjoy a little heart pumping adventure, this is the best tour for you! Upon arrive to the the entrance you will receive a safety and instruction talk. You will be dress with all of the proper gear and safety equipment. You nature guide will explain the wildlife specimens found in this area of primary and secondary rainforest. The canopy route consists of 12 cables and 16 platforms, 4 of which are built on the ground, whereas the remaining 12 hang 90ft over the verdant tree canopy. Finally you will enjoy some snacks. Individuals must be at least 6 years old to participate in this tour. Maximum weight allowed with the participants is 275 pounds

6. Savegre River White Water Rafting

Upon arriving  you will receive a safety talk and an opportunity to practice before getting into the river. The rafts in this tour are built for 6 passengers . Savegre River has 3 rapids class and is filled with bends and turns of excitement. You will spend approximately 2 ½ hours in the river, taking occasional stops to rest and admire the  flora and fauna. At the end of the tour you will have time to change your clothes and tasted a delicious homemade meal. This river has rapids class 3 all year long, during dry season it also has  rapids class 2. Participants must be at least 8 years old.

7. Naranjo River White Water Rafting

You guide will give you some safety rules to follow and then you will be ready to start the adventure in Naranjo River. You will observe mountains, jungle gorges, farmlands and palm plantations. The river’s course is steep and challenging, perfect for adventure seekers in search of an adrenaline rush.  At the end of the tour, you will  enjoy lunch made with fresh local ingredients. This tour is only available in rainy season (May to December). This river has rapids level 3 all year long, during rainy season it also has rapids level 4. Participants must be at least 8 years old.

8. Catamaran Adventure

You will be transfer to Quepos dock. A guide will take you to the loading platform and help you board the catamaran. The catamarn will depart from Quepos and you will see the back of Manuel Antonio national park, islands, cliffs and rock formations.  Beverages and snacks are available onboard the catamaran throughout the trip. On the way, you will visit  Bisanz beach where you will have time to do snorkel and observe spot parrotfish, starfish, angelfish and if you are lucky a dolphin! During the tour you will be able to taste a barbeque lunch . Water visibility varies depending on the season.
